I Would’ve Been A Footballer If Not For Music – Wizkid Reveals
Grammy-winning Afrobeats sensation, Ayodeji Balogun, Aka Wizkid reveals that football would have been his alternative career path,if music hadn’t been his calling.
The Nigerian music icon, who was once a member of his school’s football team, has always harbored a deep passion for the sport and admiration for the dedication required to excel in it.
“If I wasn’t doing music, I would be playing football, I play football real good, I used to be in my school team”, he said.
However, his impatience and aversion to early morning training sessions led him to prioritize music instead.
Despite this, Wizkid’s respect for football and its demands remains unwavering.
On the other hand, the superstar has also disclosed his unorthodox approach to security, choosing to forgo bodyguards and rely on his close-knit management team, whom he regards as family.
