Miss Universe 2024: Chidimma Adetshina Awarded First-runner-up Award
Chidimma Vanessa Adetshina from Nigeria was awarded the title of Miss Universe Africa and Oceania after placing as the first runner-up behind Victoria Kjaer Theilvig from Denmark at the 73rd Miss Universe Competition in Mexico.
This milestone makes her the first Nigerian contestant to reach the top two at the global level.
Adetshina won the Miss Nigeria title after withdrawing from the Miss South Africa competition due to scrutiny over her nationality.
