Tinubu, First Lady leave Brazil Following G-20 Summit
President Bola Tinubu and his wife, Oluremi, have left Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, following their attendance at the 2024 G-20 summit.
The Nigerian presidential jet departed from Galeao Air Force Base in Rio de Janeiro around 10:20 am local time, as reported by NTA.
Nigeria was specially invited as a guest country to participate in the gathering of the world’s 20 largest economies.
During the summit, Tinubu reiterated Nigeria’s dedication to the Global Alliance against Hunger and Poverty, a initiative spearheaded by the G-20.
Additionally, the President engaged in bilateral discussions and formalized a letter of intent for collaboration with three Brazilian firms to support the growth of Nigeria’s livestock industry.
