MOHBAD: Court Clears Naira Marley, Sam Larry, Others
A Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos, has cleared popular singer Abdulazeez Fashola, widely known as Naira Marley, of any involvement in the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba, better known as Mohbad.
In her ruling, Magistrate Ejiro Kubenje stated that Naira Marley had no case to answer.
The court also discharged music promoter Samson Balogun (Sam Larry), Owodunni Ibrahim (Primeboy), and Mohbad’s former manager, Opere Babatunde.
However, the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) has recommended the prosecution of auxiliary nurse Feyisayo Ogedengbe, who treated Mohbad shortly before his death.
Additionally, Mohbad’s friend, Ayobami Sadiq, will face charges for reckless and negligent acts under Section 251 (e) of the Lagos State Criminal Law, 2015.
Both individuals are set to be prosecuted at the magistrate court.
