NNPC Bids Farewell to Mele Kyari, Welcomes Bayo Ojulari as New GCEO

The management and staff of NNPC Limited have officially welcomed Mr. Bayo Ojulari as the newly appointed Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO), following his recent appointment by President Bola Tinubu. Ojulari steps into the role, succeeding Mele Kyari, in a restructuring of the NNPC Limited (NNPCL) board.
According to a statement from the company’s spokesman, Olufemi Soneye, issued on Wednesday, the management and staff also expressed their gratitude to the outgoing GCEO, Mr. Mele Kyari, and the former board members for their dedicated service.
“We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Mele Kyari and the previous board members for their tireless commitment to the company and the nation. Mr. Kyari’s leadership has had a lasting impact on NNPC Limited, and we are deeply thankful for his exceptional contributions. We wish him and all departing board members continued success in their future endeavors,” the statement noted.
Ojulari’s appointment is effective immediately.
