NANS Leadership Turmoil Escalates as Seyi Tinubu Denies Bribery, Abduction Claims
A bitter feud between Nigerian student leaders and Seyi Tinubu has intensified following allegations of bribery, abduction, and political interference.
NANS President Atiku Isah accused Tinubu and Youth Minister Ayodele Olawande of offering N100 million to sway his support for President Tinubu’s administration. “I was abducted, stripped, and threatened for refusing,” Isah revealed during a Wednesday press conference.
Seyi Tinubu countered on Instagram, calling the claims “lies” and denying any prior contact with Isah. “How can someone lie this boldly? May God judge him,” he posted.
The clash comes amid a fragmented NANS leadership, with Isah’s faction accusing Tinubu of deploying thugs to sabotage their April 29 Abuja inauguration.
