Chelsea Thrash Real Betis To Lift UEFA Conference League Trophy
Chelsea staged a comeback to secure a commanding 4-1 victory over Real Betis in the UEFA Conference League final on Wednesday night.
The Blues entered the match as strong favourites to lift the trophy.
However, it was Betis who struck first, with Isco finding space in the box to assist Abde Ezzalzouli, who managed to squeeze his shot past Filip Jorgensen.
The match turned in the second half, with Chelsea dominating after the break.
Captain Enzo Fernandes headed in the equaliser, and Cole Palmer then provided the assist for Nicolas Jackson to put Chelsea ahead.
Further goals from Jadon Sancho and Moises Caicedo sealed the win for the Premier League side.
Enzo Maresca’s team, who had already secured a Champions League spot last weekend, capped off their season with silverware.
Chelsea have now made history as the first club to win the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League.
