Tinubu Arrives Nasarawa, To Commission Governor Sule’s Legacy Projects
The Nasarawa State Government has announced its readiness to welcome President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to Lafia on Wednesday for the commissioning of Governor Abdullahi Sule’s multi-million naira legacy projects.
This was revealed by the Commissioner for Information and Culture, Dr. Tanko Ibrahim, during a press briefing on Tuesday at his office in Lafia, the state capital.
Dr. Tanko stated that preparations have been completed for President Tinubu’s visit, during which he will commission several notable projects initiated and completed under Governor Sule’s administration.
“The president will be received at the Usman Danfodio Airport in Lafia and will proceed to commission the under/overhead Lafia bridge. After which, the president will pay homage to the Emir of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage, rtd, at his palace.”
He further revealed that the commissioning will include a fleet of tractors and the Shendam dual carriageway, followed by the ultra-modern state secretariat complex located along Shendam Road.
The President’s visit will conclude with a town hall meeting with stakeholders at the Aliyu Akwe Doma Banquet Hall, Government House, also along Shendam Road.
