UPDATED: NEC Appoint Sam Anyanwu As PDP National Secretary
The Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Umar Damagum, has confirmed that the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) has officially endorsed Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the PDP National Secretary.
Damagum revealed this on Monday while speaking to journalists after the NEC meeting held at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja.
He stated that the endorsement was one of the major decisions made during the NEC meeting, which serves as the party’s highest decision-making body.
“Let it be clear that the NEC has affirmed Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the National Secretary of our great party,” Damagum stated.
This development is expected to settle recent internal disagreements and speculations regarding the position, reaffirming the NEC’s authority and its commitment to maintaining unity and clarity in the party’s leadership.
