Naira Falls Against US Dollar, Gap Widens Between Markets
The naira yesterday slipped to N1,550/$ at the parallel market, down from N1,540/$ on Monday.
At the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), it also eased to N1,537/$.
Data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) put the official rate at N1,537/$, a slight drop from N1,536.99/$ on Monday.
With the parallel market rate sliding faster, the gap between both markets widened sharply to N13/$, up from N3.01/$ the previous day.
