‘It Is Not Existing’ – FIFA President, Infantino Speaks On Introduction Of Blue Card

FIFA President Gianni Infantino has dismissed the proposed idea of implementing a blue card in football.

Recent reports indicated that the International Football Association Board had approved trials for this new card.

If implemented, it would have marked the first introduction of a new card in football since the iconic yellow and red cards were introduced at the 1970 World Cup.

However, due to significant backlash against the idea, Infantino has clarified to Sky UK that such a card is not part of the current plans.

“Blue cards? This is a topic that is non existent for us,” he said.

“If you want a title it is: red card to the blue card. No chance, no way.”
