EPL: Liverpool Crowned League Champions, Level Man UTD Record
Liverpool were officially crowned Premier League champions on Sunday.
The Reds matched Manchester United’s record of 20 top-flight titles with the triumph.
Their latest success came after a commanding 5-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.
Liverpool only needed a single point to secure the title but sealed it emphatically by dismantling Spurs.
Goals from Luis Díaz, Alexis Mac Allister, Cody Gakpo, and Mohamed Salah secured the win for the hosts, while Dominic Solanke netted a consolation for the visitors.
The result sees Liverpool sitting on 82 points from 34 matches, with four fixtures still left in the season.
