President Buhari reportedly sick, develops constant cough

President Muhammadu Buhari has fallen sick and is now been treated at the Presidential Villa after he developed persistent cough.
According to an Investigative Journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, a ventilator was brought in from a hospital to set up a makeshift ICU to treat president Buhari.
The daughter to a former Oyo state governor also called on all Nigerians to pray for the president as he had close contact with his chief of staff, Abba Kyari who tested positive for the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kemi wrote: “#BREAKING UPDATE is that Prez @MBuhari is very sick with persistent coughing. A ventilator has been brought in from a hospital to set up a makeshift ICU to treat our Commander-in-Chief. He had contact with his Chief of staff Mr Kyari who tested positive for CORONAVIRUS #COVID19. Pls pray for Mr President.
President Muhammadu Buhari tests negative
Recalled that Onyxnewsng gathered that President Muhammadu Buhari, has tested negative for coronavirus after going through the test. But his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, has tested positive to the deadly virus after going through the pandemic disease’s test.
This online news platform also recalled that the NCDC informed the president on the coronavirus outcome of his result which tested negative early on Tuesday 24 March 2020.
A source from the presidency said, the test for the president was necessitated after his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday.
In another report, Osun state, Southwest of Nigeria had confirmed its first case of the deadly pandemic. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the suspected coronavirus (COVID-19) case as positive in a statement released on the micro-blogging site, Twitter earlier today, 25 March.
NCDC tweeted: “Two new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria: 1 in Lagos and 1 in Osun.
“Both cases are returning travellers to Nigeria in the last 7 days.
“As at 07:00 am 25th March, there are 46 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. 2 have been discharged with 1 death,”
Meanwhile, If Kemi Olunloyo’s report, that the president is sick, is confirmed to be true, then we may hear of another test result very soon.
