Breaking: Truck catches fire on River Niger Bridge Onitsha (Video)

Information reaching Onyxnews Nigeria is that a truck has caught fire at the popular River Niger Bridge, Anambra State.
This reliable online news platform gathered that the bridge has been affected due to the fire which came from the truck that caught fire on the bridge, today, Friday.
The Public Relations Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Anambra State, Paschal Anigbo who confirmed the fire incident said, “A truck is currently on fire on the River Niger Bridge, this morning Friday 5 June 2020.
“The Fire Service has been contacted.”
There are efforts to reduce movement around the affected part.

Onyxnews Nigeria reported on May 24 that a section of the bridge was barricaded recently by the Anambra State government.
And what was barricaded was the two pedestrian walkways to ensure well organised identification by security personnel, and to check influx of passengers into the state as an effort to impose ban on interstate moment and to curtail the spread of the deadly coronavirus pandemic.
