Nigeria has recorded new cases of deadly coronavirus, (COVID-19) pandemic, Onyxnews Nigeria reports.

Onyxnews Nigeria also reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made this known that 409 new cases of raging COVID-19 has been detected in Nigeria, This made the total number of cases of the deadly disease 13,873 in the country.

However, active cases of the pandemic virus in Nigeria, according to the agency is 9104.

NCDC recorded of the 409 COVID-19 cases confirmed on Wednesday night, 201 were detected in Lagos, FCT- 85 Delta- 22 Edo- 16 Nasarawa- 14 Borno- 14 Kaduna- 14 Bauchi-10 Rivers-9 Enugu- 5 Kano- 5 Ogun- 4 Ondo- 4 Bayelsa- 2 Kebbi- 2 Plateau.

NCDC tweeted: “409 new cases of #COVID19; Lagos-201 FCT- 85 Delta- 22 Edo- 16 Nasarawa- 14 Borno- 14 Kaduna- 14 Bauchi-10 Rivers-9 Enugu- 5 Kano- 5 Ogun- 4 Ondo- 4 Bayelsa- 2 Kebbi- 2 Plateau- 2 Total of: 13,873 confirmed cases 4,351 discharged 382 deaths.”

With the new cases of four hundred and nine (409), death cases are three hundred and eighty two (382) and discharged cases are four thousand, three hundred and fifty one (4351), so the total cases of the virus in Nigeria as of Wednesday night, 10 June 2020 is thirteen thousand, eight hundred seventy three (13,873).
