Kaduna lawmakers turned boxers as Deputy Speaker gets impeached (Video)
The Kaduna State House of Assembly on Thursday exchanged blows over the impeachment of the Deputy Speaker, Mukhtar Hazo.
Hazo who was elected as the Deputy Speaker of Kaduna House of Assembly in February, 2020, was said to be incompetent in carrying out his duties, thereby forced his impeachment.
Following Hazo’s impeachment during plenary, the lawmakers elected the member representing Kauru Constituency, Isaac Auta, as the new Deputy Speaker of the state.
However, in a video which was shot by Channels Television, sighted by Onyxnews Nigeria shows the lawmakers fighting during the plenary.
