Nigeria records new cases of coronavirus, check breakdown for each state

Nigeria has recorded new cases of ravaging coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.
Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday night, released the 649 new cases and total number of the deadly disease was also confirmed in Nigeria.
The total number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases as of Wednesday 24 June 2020 in the country is 22,020, with 7,613 persons discharged, and 542 death cases have also been confirmed by NCDC.
The breakdown of numbers confirmed by states were also giving by the centre via the micro blogging site, Twitter.
NCDC tweeted: “649 new cases of #COVID19; Lagos-250 Oyo-100 Plateau-40 Delta-40 Abia-28 Kaduna-27 Ogun-22 Edo-20 Akwa Ibom-18 Kwara-17 FCT-17 Enugu-14 Niger-13 Adamawa-13 Bayelsa-7 Osun-6 Bauchi-6 Anambra-4 Gombe-3 Sokoto-2 Imo-1 Kano-1.”
“22,020 cases, 7,613 discharged, 542 deaths,” the agency added in the tweet.
