Hushpuppi released from US prison? Find out here
Reports reaching Onyxnews Nigeria which is already going viral that Ramon Igbalode Abbas popularly known as Hushpuppi has been from detention, based on information shared on the website of U.S Federal Bureau of Prisons.
The information posted on the website revealed that Hushpuppi was released since two days ago, on July 20.
The Dubai police had arrested Hushpuppi and alleged that he defrauded more than 1, 926,400 victims of $435.6 million. He was subsequently extradited to U.S where he is facing trial.
US judge, Jeffrey Gilbert, last week denied Hushpuppi bail on grounds of him being a flight risk.
But the information on the website of U.S Federal Bureau of Prisons shows that he was released on Monday.
This is a developing story as it is not clear yet the condition under which Hushpuppi was released. Perhaps, he was transferred to another prison as earlier reports had predicted.
