Video of Boko Haram attacking Borno Governor has surfaced.
Onyxnews Nigeria reports that armed men suspected to be dreaded Boko Haram members attacked the convoy of the Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, in Baga Town, on Wednesday, July 29, 2020.
The Borno Governor was reportedly on his way to visit some Internally displaced persons (IDP) camps in the northern part of Borno when his convoy was attacked.
Nobody was injured during the attack and the governor has safely returned to Maiduguri the state capital, Mohammed Mai Bukar, one of the Governor’s aides confirmed in a Facebook post.
One of the governor’s aides, Mohammed Mai Bukar, assured residents that he is safe.
Bukar wrote: “To Our Concerned citizens H.E Prof. Zulum and His Entourage are all fine and there was (were) no casualties. Thanks!”
