BREAKING: Lagos govt fixes date for reopening of churches, mosques
The Lagos State government led by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has set date for reopening of churches and mosques in the state.
Onyxnews Nigeria reports that Sanwo-Olu has announced that all worship centres in Lagos reopen from Friday, 7th August 2020.
The governor who said this on Saturday during his update on the COVID-19 disease in the state, also increased public gatherings capacity from 20 to 50 people.
But night clubs remain closed.
Worship centers and other social gatherings were banned in the state since March as part of precautions to stop the spread of coronavirus.
