Another ex NNPC Group Managing Director dies

Former NNPC GMD, Joseph Dawha is dead.
Onyxnews Nigeria reports that the former Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Joseph Dawha is dead.
The Group Managing Director of the Corporation, Mallam Mele Kyari announced his death on the micro blogging site, Twitter on Monday.
“The NNPC family regrets to announce the passing away of Dr. Joseph Thalama Dawha, GMD NNPC 2014- 2015 after a brief illness,” Mallam Kyari tweeted.
“We remember his astute leadership and immense contributions to the progress of the Corporation. It’s a great loss to us, the nation and the family,” he added.
Dawha’s death occurred few months after Maikanti Baru, the immediate past GMD of the corporation died.
Dawha was replaced by Andrew Yakubu as the Group Managing Director in 2014.
