Embattled President of Mali released

The Coup leaders in Mali have released ousted President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita from detention.
OnyxNews Nigeria reports that a spokesperson for the junta Djibrilla Maiga made this known on Thursday.
The spokesperson simply said: “He was freed this morning, (and) he has returned to his home.”
Mali’s President, Ibrahim Boubacar Keita, Prime Minister Boubou Cisse and other high rank officials were detained by mutinous soldiers on Tuesday night.
This release is comes after the military group that took over power in the country made a fresh demand.
OnyxNews Nigeria reported that the military group made a demand to rule Mali for three years.
