Hoodlums shot INEC official and the victim has been rushed to the hospital for treatment, INEC in Edo reports.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said that one of its officials was shot by hoodlums during Edo State governorship election on Saturday.
According to Godswill Alameni, Collation Officer for Etsako Central Local Government Area made the report on Sunday.
Alameni said the unnamed INEC staff was shot on Saturday and is Presently in the hospital.
He added that the incident led to the cancellation of results in a ward in the council.
