Confusion as Hausa/Yoruba clash in Lagos

Confusion as Hausa and Yoruba residents of Iju-Ishaga, Lagos clashed.
OnyxNews Nigeria reports that there is an ongoing chaos and order following early hours of the clash between the Hausa and Yoruba community in Fagba, Iju-Ishaga, Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government Area of Lagos State.
According to preliminary information gathered, some houses in the area has been set on fire which has raised serious panic among residents of the community.
Yet to be verified report has it that the clash also led to killing, though this is yet to be confirmed by authorities in the community.
The Lagos State Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO), who confirmed the ethnic clash urged community leaders to intervene.
“There is a curfew in town everybody should remain in their houses. Police overstretched, it’s a collective struggle,” the police PRO told some reporters.
