OnyxNews Nigeria learnt that the President of Benin Republic, Patrice Talon visited Aso Rock yesterday and was welcomed by Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari.

President Buhari’s aide Bashir Ahmad made the visit known through micro-blogging site, Twitter on Tuesday.

According to him, president Muhammadu Buhari met with the president of Benin Republic Patrice Talon at the Aso Rock earlier on Tuesday, January 19, displaying pictures of the personalities all masked up.

In another development, Nigeria on Tuesday night recorded 1301 new cases of coronavirus, making it a total of 113,305 virus cases, 91,200 discharged and 1,464 death. The country is still making sure it citizens adhere to laid down prevention protocols to stop the continuous spread of the disease.
