Nigerians Form Another Protest, Attack Former Minister In Abuja

Nigerians Form Another Protest, Attack Former Minister In Abuja .
OnyxNews Nigeria reports that during the 5th edition of the Democracy Youth Roundtable conference on Thursday, former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode was mocked for reportedly molesting his estranged wife, Precious Chikwendu, as online participants bombarded the comment section with #JusticeForPrecious.
Fani-Kayode spoke at a hybrid event titled Reinventing Youth Energies and Capacities for Peace and Nation Building in Nigeria as a Guest Speaker.
The event was held at the National Merit House in Maitama, Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, and attendees could also enter the conference digitally through Zoom. A few lawmakers from around the country attended the event.
From the beginning of his speech until the end, the former minister who spoke from his home was hurled with offensive words and insulting remarks.

Precious had accused the ex-minister of verbal and physical assaults, and had filed a lawsuit seeking custody of their four children as well as N3.5 million per month in child support. Fani-Kayode retaliated by accusing his ex-wife of being promiscuous.
In her appeal, she argued that the former minister had refused her custody of her children. However, the plaintiff’s claims were refuted by the former minister in a press release, which he described as baseless.
In his speech at the conference, the PDP leader urged the Nigerian government to accept the country’s disenfranchised youths and provide them with the tools they need to become assets for the country’s growth.

He also addressed the current self-determination agitations in Nigeria, saying, “The Nigerian government should handle the self-determination agitators with love, because that is how to enhance unity and nation building.”
However, it was clear that his speech did not go down well with the majority of the audience, who continued to submit comments demanding justice for Chikwendu as he spoke.
“Madam Safiya Musa, you’re dropping my hand as a moderator,” one of the participants, Tunji, said.
You brought a woman-beater to the party! Shame on you! All he says is wrong! “Pendulous politicians!” exclaims the crowd. Lion remarked, “What a hypocrite.” Tim Brown said, “Wife beater is providing advice.” “Your voice is meaningless to me,” Pretty Joy said. #PreciousIsJustice.”

“We want #JusticeForPrecious,” Umar Tijani said. “This country cannot progress with men like Fani-Kayode as leaders.”
“That’s a lot of hypocrisy. FFK is a woman-beating machine. You’re a fool! You’re a moron! #PreciousIsJustice.”
