BREAKING: Armed Men Storm Akwa Ibom, Kill Nigerian Soldiers, Policemen

Armed men have stormed Akwa Ibom state, killing Nigerian soldiers and policemen.
OnyxNews Nigeria gathered from a report by SaharaReporters, unidentified gunmen earlier on Tuesday killed a Chief Superintendent of Police, Benedict Okoh Ajide and other police officers in the Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state.
The report stated that the gunmen also killed a yet-to-be ascertained number of military personnel while many others were injured.
SaharaReporters gathered that the soldiers and policemen were said to be in the community for peacekeeping duties.

According to a source: “Unknown gunmen attacked some police officers and soldiers today. Their Hilux vans were also set ablaze,” the source told SaharaReporters.
OnyxNews Nigeria learnt that Minister of Niger Delta, Godswill Akpabio is from that local government area.
