BREAKING: Bauchi Governor Sacks 21 Commissioners (Full List)

Onyxnews reports that Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has dissolved the State Executive Council with immediate effect.
According to reports by Punch, those affected are the Secretary to the State Government, Sabi’u Baba; the governor’s Chief of Staff, Ladan Salihu, 21 Commissioners, and Special Advisers.
Onyxnews gathered that the governor retained four Special Advisers and ordered that an inventory of all Government properties should be taken.

The Special Adviser to the governor on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, made this public in a media statement signed and made available to newsmen on Wednesday.
The statement said, the governor directed that the Commissioners hand over to their respective Permanent Secretaries.
He said the SSG, Chief of Staff and affected Special Advisers, are to hand over to the most senior Permanent Secretary in the Government House.
Gidado said, “His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State Sen. Bala A. Mohammed CON (Kauran Bauchi) has approved, with immediate effect, the dissolution of members of the State Executive Council and other political appointees that include, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), the Chief of Staff (COS) Government House and all Special Advisers.”

He explained that those not affected are: “Special Adviser Security, Special Adviser National and State Assembly Liaison, Special Adviser Social Investment and Special Adviser Media and Publicity.
“All Commissioners are to handover the affairs of their Ministries to their respective Permanent Secretaries, while the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), the Chief of Staff (COS) Government House and other affected Special Advisers are to handover to the most senior Permanent Secretary in the Government House.
“He equally directed that an inventory of government property be taken.”

The Media Aide said that the governor while thanking the affected political appointees for their meritorious service to the state, wished them the very best in their future endeavours.
