The president said this Thursday in an exclusive interview with ARISE TV.
He also said in the interview that governors should sit up and handle the worsening insecurity in their respective states, instead of waiting for him.
On the part of the youths, he warned them to behave themselves and ensure the nation is secured if they want jobs in the country.
When asked about his succession plan, he said, “The succession plan depends on the party. We are going to leave it for the party. The party will sit and make decisions by the constituency they want and so on. So, those who want to be president should better join APC.”
President Buhari also noted that APC would decide which region the presidency would be zoned to in 2023.
He added that the APC caretaker committee would submit a report to him by the end of June.
Buhari said the report would show when the APC would organise its convention.
