BREAKING: Buhari Properties Seized

Buhari properties have been seized.
Onyxnews Nigeria reports properties belonging to Senator Abdulfatai Buhari have been seized by Assest Management Corporation of Nigeria, AMCON over a debt of N600 million.
Senator Buhari, through his firm, Abadat ventures secured a loan from Guaranty Trust Bank and rebuffed many reminders to repay the loan.
AMCON, in a statement on Wednesday signed by its spokesperson, Jude Nwauzor, the seizure of the Buhari properties was inline with an order by Justice I E Ekwo of Federal High Court in Abuja.
The statement which read in parts stated: “Sequel to the order of honourable Justice I. E Ekwo of the Federal High Court, Abuja, AMCON had taken over assets belonging to Alhaji Buhari Abdulfatai, Chief Promoter of Abadat Ventures Limited over indebtedness of almost N600m.”

Justice Ekwo made the ruling on March 25, 2021, and in compliance to the enforcement order, AMCON on Friday, June 18, 2021 took effective possession of two properties belonging to Senator Buhari.
The properties seized are located in Abuja.
