BREAKING: Popular Emir Kidnapped In His Palace

Popular Emir has kidnapped in his palace.
Onyxnewsng gathered that the Dodo of Wawa in Borgu local government area of Niger State, Dr Mahmud Ahmed Aliyu, has been kidnapped.
Onyxnewsng also gathered that the Emir was kidnapped from his palace in Wawa town on Saturday night and taken to an unknown place.
Wawa is one of the oldest emirates carved out of Kwara State when Niger was created.
The Dodo of Wawa used to be a second class chief under the old Kwara State but downgraded to a district head in Niger State.
A source close to the palace told 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE that bandits numbering about seven, stormed the palace after the late evening prayers and seized the district head who has just returned from the mosque.

He said the assailants arrived the palace on motorcycles, shooting sporadically into the air and headed for their target.
“From all indication, their mission was to take away the Dodo because they didn’t branch anywhere neither did they abducted anyone else,” he explained.
