BREAKING: Ex Super Eagles Midfielder Is Dead
Former Super Eagles midfielder Emmanuel Ebiede is dead.
Ebiede died in Port Harcourt, Rivers State University Teaching Hospital on Friday, Onyxnewsng gathered.
The 47-year-old passed away after suffering Hepatomegaly.
Ebiede was part of the Flying Eagles squad at the African Youth Championship on home soil in 1995.
He won only two caps for the senior Nigeria national team, making his debut under Serbian Bora Milutinovic in the 1-0 win over Iran in a friendly match played before the 1998 World Cup.
He is survived by his wife and three children.
