AFCON 2023: Super Eagles Prepare For A Formidable Group Stage Draw

The Nigerian Nation team, will know its group stage opponents for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, set to hold in Abidjan, the Ivorian Capital.
The 34th edition of the AFCON, Africa’s biggest football tournament, will hold in Cote d’Ivoire from 13 January to 11 February 2024.
Following their drop in latest FIFA rankings,The Super eagles have brighter chance of meeting Top African countries featuring Egypt, Tunisia, and Algeria.
Nigeria’s likely opponents will come from Pots 3 which includes Cape Verde, Zambia, South Africa, Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, and Mauritania. And Pot 4 that contains the lowest-ranked teams in the competition, including Angola, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Namibia, Gambia, and Tanzania, respectively.
