I Call On Us To Work Together – Al-Makura
Tanko Al-Makura has addressed the members of the APC in Nassarawa state to come together as one big family and avoid rumour-mongering to avoid disunity in the party.
He made this call while delivering his speech at the reception organized in honour of the state party chairman, Hon. Aliyu Bello.
Al-Makura cautioned the party of the negative outcome that disunity brings.
“I call on us to please continue to work together. Let’s avoid rumour-mongering, let’s avoid anything that will bring disunity amongst ourselves.
He said: “We have been together, we are together, and if we love this state, if we love this party, we should continue to be together as one strong, united family,” .
According to him, Bello’s vast knowledge and experience in politics and administration, contributes to the growth and development of the party.
“We are very lucky to have, at this stage of the development of the party, someone like Aliyu Bello. This is someone who has cut his teeth in political activities and administration for so many decades,” he said.
Tanko described Bello’s role as a unifying force within the party, pointing out his philanthropic activities, which he believes will garner support for the party across diverse segments of Nasarawa state.
