Russian Olympic Committee Appealed To CAS After IOC Suspension
The Russian Olympic Committee filed an appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport after being suspended by the IOC for violating Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
The Russian Olympic Committee recognized regional organizations in four Ukrainian territories annexed by Russia since the 2022 invasion.
The Russian Olympic Committee has appealed to CAS saying that; “requests that the Challenged Decision be set aside and that it be reinstated as a (National Olympic Committee) recognised by the IOC, benefitting from all rights and prerogatives granted by the Olympic Charter”.
