Kogi Election: Vice governor, Onoja Lost Olamaboro LGA To SDP
Chief Edward David Onoja,the vice governor of Kogi state has lost his local government, Olamaboro, to the strong contestant party, Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Edward Onoja’s Olamaboro LGA reportedly recorded 22,173 votes for the SDP and 5,572 votes for the APC. The collation officer, Ogbufa Chukwudi, signed off on the results.
Olamaboro LGA recorded total vote cast of 30,226 with 495 invalid and 2,975 rejected ballots.
Out of the 30226 votes, Senator Dino Melaye of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP had 1,376 votes.
