Support Him Now That He’s Alive Not When He Is Dead – Yul Edochie

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has suggested that Nigerian’s tendency to offer more support to deceased people than to the living may have prompted rapper Oladips to fake his own death.
After Oladips, a rapper who was reported dead by his management, was found to be alive and well, actor Yul Edochie encouraged Nigerians to continue to show their support for him, even if he is still living.
Edochie pointed out that people shouldn’t have to die to receive support.
Edochie criticized some Nigerians for celebrating the dead but refusing to support the living out of jealousy and envy.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Edochie wrote: “What’s up with the guy who faked his death? Una no wan trend am? Nobody is posting him?
“Nobody is posting his music cos he’s still alive. If he was truly dead by now, una no go let people rest. Everybody will be posting his picture and his music.
“To support dead people dey sweet una pass the ones wey dey alive. Support him now that he’s alive, jealousy and envy no go let una.”
