LaLiga: Sadiq’s Screamer Helps Real Sociedad Beat Sevilla
Nigerian forward Umar Sadiq scored an amazing goal as Real Sociedad defeated Sevilla 2-1 at the Reale Arena.
Dmitrovic scored the first goal for Sociedad in the second minute, and Sadiq followed up with a spectacular strike in the 22nd minute.
It was Umar’s first goal since September 22, 2023.
Sadiq had been sidelined for almost the entire 2022-23 season due to an Achilles tendon injury, so this goal was a great comeback for him.
Sevilla got a goal back through Youssef En-Nesyri in the 60th minute, but they couldn’t find an equalizer.
