Serie A: Osimhen Unlikely To Stay At Napoli
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Victor Osimhen has decided not to renew his contract with Napoli and is determined to leave the Serie A champions.
The 23-year-old Nigerian striker’s contract is set to expire in 2025, but it seems he is looking for a new challenge.
However, Osimhen has been linked with a move to some of the biggest clubs in the Premier League, including Chelsea and Arsenal.
According to Fabrizio Romano’s statement on the Kick Streaming media, Napoli is not ready to renew Osimhen’s contract.
“For Victor Osimhen, it’s essential to clarify, as I have consistently mentioned since September, there’s no agreement between Napoli and Osimhen for a new contract.”
“He’s only contracted till June 2025, and my sources are quite clear Osimhen is not inclined to sign a new deal at Napoli.
“That’s the current status as of today. Football is unpredictable, but the current stance appears firm—Osimhen won’t be renewing there,”He said.
Osimhen has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past, and it remains to be seen if he will make the switch.
His return to action last weekend was a welcome sight for Napoli after he had been out of action since October with an injury.
Osimhen’s future remains uncertain, but he has certainly attracted the attention of some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
