Dangote Refineries Agree Supply To 150,000 IPMAN Stations
The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has reached an agreement to provide fuel to approximately 150,000 retail outlets managed by the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN).
Following a meeting between the refinery’s management and executives of IPMAN, it was confirmed that the refinery will supply products to over 30,000 members of IPMAN.
Additionally, regulatory authorities are currently evaluating the quality of the refined products before granting approval for distribution to the market.
Furthermore, seven major oil marketers in Nigeria have already registered with the refinery for the lifting and distribution of refined petroleum products, which include diesel and aviation fuel.
These major marketers include 11 Plc, Conoil Plc, Ardova Plc, MRS Oil Nigeria Plc, OVH Energy Marketing Limited, Total Nigeria Plc, and NNPC Retail.
In a similar vein, the Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN) has also expressed its intention to engage with the refinery for the supply of products.
This collaboration between the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and various petroleum associations and major marketers signifies a significant development in the Nigerian fuel industry.
The refinery’s announcement of commencing the production of diesel and aviation fuel further solidifies its role as a key player in the country’s energy sector.
This news holds promise for improved access to fuel for consumers and an enhanced distribution network for petroleum products in Nigeria.
