NPFL: New Venue For Youth League Revealed
The South-South qualifiers for the youth League, which were originally scheduled to take place in Asaba, have now been moved to Port Harcourt, according to the organizers.
Pastor Emeka Inyama, the chairman of the organizing committee, announced this change in venue during a meeting in Abuja.
The specific reason for the change has not been disclosed.
The participating teams at the new venue include Akwa United, Bayelsa United, Bendel Insurance, and Rivers United.
It is expected that the teams will arrive at their respective zonal grounds on January 30th, with screening and documentation taking place on January 31st.
In addition to Port Harcourt, other zonal venues include Kaduna for the North East and North West, Enugu for the South East, Ekiti for the South West, and Lafia for the North Central.
The zonal qualifiers for the competition are scheduled to be held between February 1st and 3rd across all centers.
