Rema Set To Take Stage At BRITs Award Ceremony
Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has been officially announced as a performer at this year’s prestigious BRIT Awards, the United Kingdom’s highest-profile music awards ceremony.
The confirmation was made public by the organizers through their social media platform on Thursday morning.
This appearance will mark Rema as the second Nigerian artist to perform at the Brit Awards, following Burna Boy’s performance in 2018.
The ceremony is set to take place in London on March 2, 2023.

“Stay calm, @heisrema will be performing at the #BRITs 2024.
“let’s gooooooo,” the statement reads.
Furthermore, Burna Boy and Asake have been nominated in the International Artist of the Year category, while Rema’s song “Calm Down” has been nominated in the highly sought-after International Song of the Year category for the 2024 Brit Awards.
Despite the event being established 46 years ago, Nigeria has yet to secure a Brit Award winner.
