Tinubu Appoints Kemi Nandap As Immigration Comptroller-General
President Bola Tinubu has given his approval for the appointment of Kemi Nanna Nandap as the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), starting from March 1, 2024.
Nandap will be taking over the position from Mrs. Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju, whose tenure ends on February 29, 2024.
According to a statement released by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Nandap previously held the position of Deputy Comptroller-General overseeing the Migration Directorate of the Service.
The statement highlighted the President’s expectation that the new Comptroller-General will advance the ongoing reforms within the service, establish a robust system for effective and dedicated service delivery to the people of Nigeria, and enhance the nation’s security by implementing proactive and efficient border security and migration management strategies.
