BREAKING: Mauricio Pochettino Leaves Chelsea’s Managerial Role
Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has departed from the Premier League club by mutual agreement, as reported by Sky Sports.
Pochettino joined Stamford Bridge just last summer, where he had signed a two-year contract.
Despite guiding the team to a sixth-place finish, his tenure came to an end due to reported disagreements with the club’s owners, Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital.
Over the course of the season, Pochettino showed promising results, culminating in a strong finish.
However, differences in vision and direction with the ownership seemed to be the underlying cause of his departure.
The departure of Pochettino marks Chelsea’s sixth permanent managerial change in the past five years, a period that saw the likes of Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter, and Frank Lampard at the helm.
