FULL LIST: Osimhen Snubbed As Lookman, Ekong Nominated CAF Player Of The Year
Ademola Lookman and William Troost Ekong have been shortlisted for the 2024 Confederation of African Football (CAF) men’s player of the year award.
This was announced on the CAF X handle earlier on Thursday.
However, the list saw the current titleholder Victor Osimhen and Victor Boniface missed out.
Beside Lookman and Troost Ekong are Achraf Hakimi of Morocco, Simon Adingra of Cote d’Ivoire, and Serhou Guirassy of Guinea battling for the most coveted individual prize for male footballers on the continent.
