BREAKING: Ramadan Crescent Sighted –Saudi Arabia Announces
Saudi Arabia confirmed the sighting of the Ramadan crescent on Friday, marking the beginning of the holy month on Saturday, March 1.
Meanwhile, the Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, had earlier urged Muslims to watch for the Ramadan 1446 AH crescent on Thursday.
However, he has yet to provide an update.
In the meantime, several countries, including Qatar and Oman, have officially declared that Ramadan will commence on Saturday, March 1.
