UCL: PSG Defeat Arsenal 2-1 To Face Inter In Final
Paris Saint-Germain have secured their place in the Champions League final after a 2-1 victory over Arsenal on Wednesday night.
The Ligue 1 champions entered the second leg of the semi-final with a 1-0 advantage from their win at the Emirates last week.
Arsenal had an early opportunity to equalize on aggregate, but Gianluigi Donnarumma delivered another stellar performance for the home side.
PSG opened the scoring before halftime through a powerful strike from Fabián Ruiz past David Raya.
Luis Enrique’s side tightened their grip on the tie when Achraf Hakimi curled in a second goal in the second half.
Although Bukayo Saka pulled one back for Arsenal, it proved to be just a consolation as the Gunners were knocked out of the tournament.
PSG will face Inter Milan who edged Barcelona 7-6 on aggregate in the final on May 31 in Munich.
