TRANSFER: Napoli Sign Dutch Forward Noa Lang from PSV Eindhoven
Serie A champions Napoli have officially announced the signing of Dutch attacker Noa Lang from PSV Eindhoven on Thursday.
“SSC Napoli announces that it has definitively acquired the registration of the player Noa Noell Lang from PSV Eindhoven,” the Serie A outfit wrote in a short statement on their website.
According to Italian outlets, Napoli secured the 26-year-old’s services for a fee of €25 million ($29 million). Lang becomes the second major departure from PSV in the span of a week, following Malik Tillman’s transfer to Bayer Leverkusen.
Lang began his professional journey at Ajax before moving to Belgian outfit Club Brugge in October 2020 on loan — a deal that became permanent the following summer.
He joined PSV in 2023, where he featured in 63 matches across all competitions, netting 19 goals and assisting 14 more. During his spell at the club, he clinched two Eredivisie titles, adding to the pair of Belgian league trophies he won with Brugge.
The arrival of the skilful winger comes shortly after Napoli’s headline-making capture of Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester City — regarded as Italy’s most significant transfer this summer.
Napoli are also deep in talks with Udinese over a potential €35 million move for Italy forward Lorenzo Lucca, while Bologna’s Dutch defender Sam Beukema is also on their radar, with a reported €30 million fee.
To fund these ambitious acquisitions, Napoli are expected to finalize the sale of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen to Galatasaray for €75 million.
