Why 2025 Could Be Anthony Joshua’s Last Year In Boxing – His Shocking Hints
British boxer Anthony Joshua has hinted that 2025 might mark the end of his boxing career.
Joshua, who turned professional in 2013, last stepped into the ring in September 2024, where he suffered a fifth-round knockout defeat to Daniel Dubois.
The 35-year-old is expected to fight again later this year.
In an interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, Joshua revealed that his “last punch” could be thrown before the year ends.
He also paid tribute to his longtime promoters, MatchRoom Boxing, who have managed his career from the start.
He said: “Long may you reign supreme and keep giving fighters opportunities to become champions and make boxing great.
“12 years ago, I signed with you and 12 years later I will throw my last punch with you.”
