OnyxNews Nigeria reports that 100 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Nigeria.
With 100 new cases confirmed on Sunday night, 6th September 2020, total number of the pandemic virus is currently 55,005 in the country, 43,013 discharged and 1,057 deaths.
Giving the breakdown of states affected, NCDC reports that Lagos has 39 cases, FCT-22 Kaduna-19 Oyo-7 Ebonyi-6 Edo-3 Katsina-1 Ekiti-1 Bauchi-1 and Nasarawa-1.
